We’re getting to that time of year that, for some, seems to last forever. Too long, unless you’ve learned how to cope with the damp and cool. Fortunately we’re in a place where there’s always something fun to do, whether inside or out. We’ve put together some ideas we hope you’ll try with your mentee.

Fall Activities
Visit a pumpkin patch and corn maze
Go apple picking (here is a list of some possible places to go)
Pumpkin carving
Check out places to see nice fall colors
Have hot chocolate or apple cider
Don’t forget your local library!
Winter Activities
Visit Oregon Museum of Science and Industry (OMSI) (Mentors get in for free)
Play a board game
Watch a movie
Go to the library
Visit Powell’s City of Books
Visit an arcade
Go bowling. (We love Superplay in Beaverton and might be able to score you some free passes. Just let us know.)
Visit the zoo
Cook or bake together
Do an art project together
Visit the Belmont Firehouse
Make a fort
Do a puzzle
Scavenger hunt
Go to a trampoline park
