Welcoming Al Nodarse as our new Executive Director

We are excited to announce Al Nodarse as Faithful Friends’ new Executive Director!

Al has a big heart for mentoring youth, and has mentored and coached for over 20 years.

“Since I have been mentoring youth (pro bono) for so long, I feel this is my one true calling,” he says. “I’ve been on over 10 NPO Boards / Groups that are all ‘youth centric’ helping them raise money. After 20 years of helping corporations raise money, and spending maybe 10% of my time helping NPO’s, I felt I needed to ‘flip the script’. I wanted to spend ALL of my time helping mentor our youth.”

Al grew up in a Latino-Catholic household and is excited to increase Faithful Friends’ exposure to Portland’s Latino and Catholic communities, and in the faith-based community in Portland in general. “I feel Faithful Friends is too much of a ‘well kept secret’,” Al says.

Along with the passion for Faithful Friends’ mission, Al also brings great experience to this role. “Most of my career has been involved in growing revenue for corporations,” he explains. “I spent a lot of my career managing / coaching others on how to grow their own careers / sales. As a matter of fact, I owned 2 companies, Platinum Business Solutions (California) and PinPoint Sales Group (Oregon) helping other CEO’s grow their sales too.”

We are all looking forward to working with Al and seeing how his passion and fresh ideas will help to grow Faithful Friends in the coming years.
