The Work of Mentoring is Never Finished (3/10)

"One of the clues was to find batman riding on a red bike. It was designed to be a rare sight so when they saw him, they went crazy!"

At the beginning of quarantine, Faithful Friends matches had to adapt to online "outings". For many, the isolation from friends, teachers, family, AND mentors was (and continues to be) a huge challenge.

As a response to a survey sent to our mentors, Chon and his wife created an outdoor scavenger hunt in their neighborhood. They invited matches to come join.

"I think the social aspect was good. Isolation is a real thing during COVID. Also, it gave kids and mentors some time for teamwork, fun, and exercise. One of the clues was to find batman riding on a red bike. It was designed to be a rare sight so when they saw him, they went crazy! All in all, it was a fun time in what is a challenging time in life for many." -Chon, Faithful Friends Mentor
