Earth: We Love You!
We are so glad that Creation Care has become more of a thing over the past few years.
Just as Adam was tasked with caring for the garden, we too should enjoy and care for the world we live in whether that means planting flowers in the garden, hiking a nearby trail then cleaning up that trail when the need arises, or picking up trash around your house. We all have a part to play in making this world a better place for our present and future generations to enjoy.
Many of our Faithful Friends mentors and mentees enjoy the outdoors in a big way, from hiking to boating to walks in the park to picking up trash. We’d love to hear from you as we celebrate Earth Day through a video response to one or both of these questions:
What local hikes have you and your mentor enjoyed together?
What activities have you done with your mentee that exemplify care of the earth and our environment?
As we collect responses we plan to post them to celebrate what our volunteers and children are doing to learn how to enjoy and care for our wonderful world!
For this project we are using Vouch which makes it easy to record a video from your computer or phone. You can reshoot it until you are happy, then the software will get it to us so you don’t have to attach anything.
