‘Motoring for Mentors’ Sept Car Show
Car shows aren't just for car enthusiasts or gearheads. They are for anyone who wants to enjoy sweet baked goods and coffee, rides on some of the most unique vehicles you've ever seen, a chance to let your kids enjoy playing with Matchbox and Hot Wheels on a race track, or those who really DO want to see what it looks like under the hood of a classic car.
Faithful Friends is using Portland-area car shows to showcase the need for child mentorship in our community. As our car show series grows, we plan to bring on other mentoring focused non-profits to get more kids mentored while enjoying a few hours together in a no-stress environment.
Special thanks to our church partner Parklane Church, Pastor Pete, and car enthusiasts Dave and Lynn Koetje (church members and mentors) for helping with hosting and setup.
For those who attended and asked about a way to donate, see link below.
If you want to know more about mentoring, feel free to join in on an upcoming info session or get involved in another way.
