Summer Fun at Blue Lake

Blue Lake in Fairview is a magical place in the summer time. The sparkling waters play host to any number of warm weather water activity. On one specific dock, owned by the Williamson family, two girls play in the water. They practice their underwater mermaid swimming skills including submersed flipping, dock jumping and diving, paddle boarding, or fighting for control of the inflatable unicorn. In perhaps the most daring of all activities, Jeff & Tanya’s mentee shows off her bravery by jumping directly into the mucky green underwater plant area that nobody in their right minds like to even get close to if they can help it.

In 2017, our previous Executive Director visited the Williamsons for a photoshoot from the dock where some of our most iconic photos were captured (especially the photo used on our homepage).
